Our High School Ministry is a faith building group open to all 9th-12th graders in the area! One does not have to be enrolled in confirmation in order to participate in these gatherings. Our High School Ministry has one goal: to help teens encounter and build a relationship with Jesus. High School Ministry is a place for high school teens to tackle life's toughest questions, learn about including their faith in their daily lives and build a community as the young church. Using catechetical teachings as well as games, activities, and faith sharing, our youth are encouraged to embrace God and their Catholic faith, and are more prepared for entering college / life after high school.
High School Ministry gatherings are not set on an exact schedule. Gatherings include a variety of events at the parish for high school students to discuss and share their faith, or special events like Inspiration LA, Youth Day or City of Saints. A full calendar of Youth Ministry events will be posted on our Instagram @sfryouthministry every month as well as on the Parish Website. If you would like text updates on Youth Ministry events, please fill out the form here.
**Please keep in mind, High School Ministry is not meant to prepare the child for any sacramental prep. If your child is in need of receiving sacraments such as baptism, first holy communion, or confirmation please talk to the youth minister directly.
